Do the work as well as I can
State clearly what I know and do not know, then take responsibility for the part I can do.
ABOUT QIHAO
After ten years of writing software, I am starting over as a beginner in electronics, 3D printing, and product making.
RIGHT NOW
Software experience is still my starting point, but electronics, 3D printing, and product making force me to face problems that cannot be solved only by answers on a screen.
For the past ten years, I have been used to breaking down requirements, designing systems, and iterating. I now apply the same approach to power, component selection, wiring, assembly, and physical testing.
My goal is not to prove quickly that I can do hardware. It is to finish the first thing that is genuinely useful and preserve every decision along the way.
THE ROAD HERE
What I want to carry forward is not one particular technology, but the ability to move from unfamiliarity to understanding.
When the team moved from jQuery to React, none of us had prior experience. I completed the first frontend architecture, and more than ninety percent of the team's later frontend projects used it. That experience showed me that capability grows by taking responsibility for real problems.
AI made writing code smoother, but also made me realize I was still staying in a virtual world. I turned toward materials, interfaces, and physical tests because they contain friction that cannot be skipped by generating an answer.
I began with an AI voice conversation feature. It is still far from a robot, but it became my entry point into electronics, 3D printing, and product making—and into exploring what useful objects emerge when interaction meets physical function.
WHAT I BELIEVE
These are not slogans. They are standards I want every learning process and build to withstand.
State clearly what I know and do not know, then take responsibility for the part I can do.
The first attempt may be clumsy; the second should carry forward a method, judgment, or improvement from the failure.
AI can accelerate searching and understanding, but it cannot replace checking the physical object, testing by hand, and judging the result.
WHY THIS SITE EXISTS
This site will not show only polished results. I record wiring I did not understand, wrong parts, misunderstood parameters, and repeated tests so that someone else can inspect and reproduce the path.
